BUILT-IN PROPERTY LIBRARIES
Beam deflection is a function of the beam's material (elastic modulus) as well as its cross-section geometry (moment of inertia). Xtruct Blue includes built-in values for common elastic moduli and moments of inertia. Of course, you can always specify these values directly to suit your needs.
• Most American standard shapes - Select the appropriate shape and its moment of inertia will be applied to the calculation. (And of course, the beam visualization will adapt to render the selected shape profile.)
• Some common engineering materials - Select one of the built-in materials, and an approximation of its elastic modulus will be applied to the calculation. (As a bonus, the beam's color will change depending on the selected material.)

What's New
• IMPROVED: If you are editing a load and you rotate the device, the edit focus is not lost anymore. Previously, rotating the device would cause the app state to be reset and loads would get unselected automatically.
• FIXED BUG: During some transition animations, tapping on the screen sometimes caused the app to enter an invalid state. So our animations are now even better because they are more stable. (:
