We are fans of the classic style game here at App Saga, and today’s app fits that mold rather nicely. It’s called Ancient Legacy.
Beyond the aesthetically retro look, Ancient Legacy offers up an RPG-style gameplay that will mimic similar games of its ilk from the old days of the console. Your role is that of a hero who must explore a world filled with mystery and magic, as well as build out your base and manage specific resources. The idea is that you roll a dice to determine your strategy and luck, and then from their build out your camp, upgrade your skills and weaponry, and do battle with various enemies that wish to do you harm.
There are four different bosses you’ll battle at the end of specific levels, along with nine separate heroes you can choose from, each one coming with their own skills and abilities. As mentioned before, the aesthetic of Ancient Legacy is decidedly retro, with pixelated graphics and animations. If you’re wanting something that harkens back to old school gameplay, grab Ancient Legacy and enjoy.
